Media interested to cover the Africa Unite events commemorating the 60 th birthday celebrations of the legendary Reggae superstar Bob Marley are requested to COMPLETE THE MEDIA ACCREDITATION FORM ONLINE.

Deadline for applying for accreditation is 24 January 2005 . Applications received after 24 January may not be considered .

Accreditation is required to gain access to Africa Unite events and to arrange interviews with performers and participants.

Services available for accredited journalists include:
- AFRICA UNITE Media Help Desk at Bole International Airport
(Room F33 located right after the customs desk open 24 hours where accredited journalists pick up their press badges)
- Waiver on customs levies for equipment (equipment must leave country with departure of journalists)
- Waiver on film permit fee. (This applies to television/film crews covering Africa Unite activities in Addis Ababa . Crews intending to film outside Addis Ababa will be required to apply for a separate film permit and pay pertinent fees.)

Access to all Africa Unite events and venues including:
- Opening Ceremony at the Addis Ababa City Hall
- Songs of Freedom Exhibition Opening
- Africa Unite Symposium and media conferences
- ‘No Woman Nuh Cry: My Life With Bob Marley’ Book Launch
- Africa Unite Tree Planting Ceremony
- Africa Unite Concert - Media Section
